Dad of the Month - April 2020

Last month we started a "Dad of the Month" on our blog. Each month we pick a dad who is knocking it out of park in our group! Of course, we're not all perfect, but we just look for dad's who are loving on their kids! Please help us congratulate our April Dad of the Month, Daniel Mohler! Read below to hear about Daniel!

Daniel is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and is a Construction Project Manager. He lives with his wife and son.

Daniel explains the reason that he and his wife adopted was that he and his wife had a six-year struggle with infertility. Over the years his wife had had three miscarriages and completed six rounds of IVF. Daniel also shares that adoption was always on their hearts as a way to grow their family - they just wanted to make sure they explored all of their infertility options. Daniel states that he and his wife utilized the organization "Adoptions From the Heart" for their adoption.

Daniel loves his son and when asked what his favorite thing about him is, he exclaims that it would be longest list in history and that he absolutely loves everything about Sebastian. However, if he absolutely needed to narrow it down, Daniel says his personal favorite thing is that Sebastian loves imitating everything he does. His wife has even admitted that Sebastian is definitely a daddy's boy. Daniel shares that he feels he has an insane bond with his son.

In Daniel's free time he loves to renovate his home and describes it as a great, creative, constructive, and meaningful way to spend time together. Daniel also enjoys biking and hiking. In his life, Daniel has done roughly 10,000 miles of hiking and biking across the USA!
